Welcome and a brief introduction

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Kenley and I am a psychology researcher, counsellor, and science communicator. I started this blog to exhibit my writing and science communication skills. While I have experience with writing and publishing scientific papers (click this link to view my scientific portfolio), I wanted an outlet to display my science communication work. As a result, I started this blog and website.

I will be writing about a variety of topics such as mental health, the research and publication process, PhDs and psychology in Australia, applied statistics for psychology, and science that I am generally interested in. You may notice that my blog posts will vary in formality. Some posts will be in an article format (like that of a medical/science magazine) while other posts will be more relaxed and conversational in style. I decided to write in these two styles to cater to the spectrum of science writing and science communication. I do not have a set publishing schedule, but I will endeavour to post as regularly as possible. Thank you for visiting, and I hope that you find my posts to be interesting.
